Cook (f/m)


Cooks (f/m) prepare many different dishes and organize all work flows in the kitchen, they create the menu, buy ingredients and store them properly. They prepare and arrange dishes. During your apprenticeship as cook, you work in our company canteen.

Varied and diversified
During your apprenticeship, you work in our company canteen where your will cook for several hundred employees every day. You will learn how to prepare cold and warm dishes like soups and sauces as well as fish, meat and poultry dishes and also desserts

You need to be creative when creating recipes and menu suggestions and when caring for our guests.
Commercial training
You will also get training in commercial fields of work:
Here, your diversified tasks involve ordering goods, checking the store and calculating prices.

Duration and place of apprenticeship

  • 3 years – Dual apprenticeship
    according to the Apprenticeship Act
  • Day-release and block-release

Qualifications and requirements

  • Secondary General School Certificate or
    Intermediate School Certificate
  • Sense of cleanness and tidiness
  • Quick grasp and creativity would be an asset
